The GPS Tracker has a slot to insert a SIM card (same as a mobile phone) which means that it can communicate via the mobile phone networks and send messages to your phone or computer*.

The tracker has a built in, top of the range, GPS receiverÂ which is constantly checking itâ€™s position and location using a series of satellites that orbit in space. When required, the tracker can proactively or reactively communicate with you via your mobile phone or the internet, giving exact location details and its speed. This is achieved via a text message to your mobile phone or a a data message to your PC.

	As well as adhoc requests for location details the tracker can send continuous location details as preset intervals.		Simply send an SMS to the tracker and if it moves more than a predefined distance away from the original position, it will send you an SMS with exact location details.
	Receive an alert if your tracker is travelling over a preset speed. Great for checking the children aren’t speeding in their new car.		The tracker can be set up to send you an alert (with exact location details) if it moves into or out of a predefined area.
	You pay no monthly subscriptions or rental costs. Simply ensure that the SIM card inserted into the GPS Tracker is valid and has adequate credit to be able to send SMS.		Communicate directly with the person that has the GPS Tracker. The GPS Tracker can call up to 3 preset numbers and any number can call into the GPS Tracker.
	Press the red SOS button and it will send an SMS alert with exact location co-ordinates. You can also hold a two way conversation to check on the emergency.		When the GPS Tracker battery starts to go low, it will send an SMS so you can arrange to recharge it.
